Description

Lime Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled stone slate roof and stone end stacks. The house follows a three-unit plan and presents a symmetrical three-window facade over two storeys. A C20 gabled hood sits above the early 19th-century six-panelled door, which has two glazed panels. The ground floor windows are C19 three-light casements with timber lintels, while the first floor has C20 casements. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
