Description
The Red Horse Inn, specifically the right hand (south) part, is a house that has been incorporated into the inn. It dates from the mid to late 17th century and features painted rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and a brick chimney on the left side. The building is two storeys high and has two windows with 19th century glazing bar sashes. The ground floor on the left has replaced a doorway, while the right side features an angled mullion window bay, with repaired mullions and a dropped cill. Access is through an arched doorway located in a taller mid-19th century extension to the left, which is not included in this description. Inside, the ground floor showcases a chamfered beam and joists, along with a large inglenook fireplace.
