Description
This cottage, located approximately 50 meters southeast of The Thatched Cottage, likely dates from the early 18th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories high with an irregularly spaced three-window front. There are two-light cavetto-moulded mullion windows directly below the eaves and to the lower left, along with a four-light chamfered mullion window on the lower right, although the mullions were replaced in the 20th century. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door from the 20th century, which is sheltered by a contemporary open lean-to porch. The cottage has an integral end stack on the left and an internal end stack on the right, both of which were rebuilt in the 20th century. The back wall features a two-light mullion window on the ground floor, but the mullion has been removed.
