Description

This barn, located approximately 30 meters northwest of Bradshaws Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and has had some minor alterations since then. It is constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble, with weatherboarding on the gable of the porch and a stone slate roof. The barn features a central gabled cart entrance with a wooden lintel and folding doors, as well as an opposing entrance at the rear. There are square air vents present. Inside, the barn has a double-purlin collar and tie beam roof that spans five bays. There are 20th-century concrete block additions on either side of the porch, which are not considered to have special architectural interest.
