Description
This barn, located approximately 70 meters east of Chase House, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Stonesfield-slate roof. The barn has a four-bay plan and includes opposed double doors. Loft doors are present at the floored ends. Inside, the trusses consist of tiebeams and collars, supporting two rows of butt purlins with through tenons.
