Description

This chest tomb, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 45 meters south-southwest of the Church of St. Bartholomew in Eynsham. It is made of limestone and is set on a raised plinth. The tomb features lozenges set within square panels, a frieze of latticed bands, and a brattished cornice. It commemorates Thomas Day, who died in 1794, Kathleen Day, who died in 1772, Thomas Day, who died in 1813, and Robert Day, who died in 1831.
