Description

The bottle kiln located immediately east of number 50 (Coldstones) in Shipton-under-Wychwood is a late 19th century or early 20th century brick structure used for pottery. It features a circular plan with an elongated domical cone and an open top, and is reinforced with iron clasping hoops. There are stoke holes positioned to the south-east and south-west.
