Description

No. 7 Market Street is a house from the 17th century that has been altered. It is built of coursed and square rubble stone, topped with a gabled machine-tiled roof and features end brick stacks. The house has two storeys and a three-window range. On the upper floor, there are two windows, both of which are 2-light, 6-pane sashes situated under wooden lintels. On the ground floor, to the left, there are two large pane sash windows also under wooden lintels. To the right, there is a canted bay window that is three panes wide and has a sash. The central door is part glazed and is set beneath a flat projecting hood that extends over the bay window, supported by iron brackets.
