Description
The remains of a churchyard cross are located approximately 10 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. This cross likely dates from the 14th or 15th century and is made of limestone. It features a square stepped moulded plinth resting on a base of two square steps. From the square socket of the plinth rises a short section of an octagonal shaft, which has raised quatrefoil decoration and is probably the upper part of the original shaft. Atop this is a 19th-century Celtic cross-head. A drawing by Buckler from 1821 shows the cross in its current form, minus the Celtic cross-head.
