The base of a churchyard cross, dating from the 15th century, is located approximately 4 meters south of the porch of the Church of St. Mary in Shifford. It sits on a late 19th-century plinth and features an octagonal base with corner spurs. The structure includes a weathered stump that is the remnant of a former cross.
