Description

SHIPTON-UNDER-WYCHWOOD HIGH STREET SP 2617-2717 (west side) 7/79 - The Old Forge GV II Farmhouse. C17 restored late C20. Coursed rubble with Cotswold stone roof, end chimneys, one ashlar. Two storeys, 3 bays, chamfered mullion windows, 2-light on first floor, 3-light on ground floor, small single light window on first floor to left. Central ledged door with C20 bracketed stone hood. One-and-a-half storey extension to left with 1- and 2-light mullioned window and 2 slit windows and hipped dormer. South gable has extruded stepped chimney and a 2-light garret window.
