Description
The Stone Gallery is a house that likely dates from the 17th century but was refronted in the mid-19th century. It features an ashlar front and a Cotswold stone roof, with a brick chimney located on the left side. The building has two storeys and an attic that is lit from the rear. There are offset courses that serve as a cornice below the parapet, which is a characteristic feature from the early to mid-18th century in the area.
On the first floor, there is one window with glazing bar sashes, while the ground floor has a recessed bow shop window with a door to the right. The front of the building extends out from the street line, particularly noticeable on the north return, where it displays fine ashlar sides and a first-floor window. At the rear, there is a gabled dormer and a steeply gabled extension.
