Description
The Church of St. Michael features a group of two chest tombs made of limestone, dating from the late 18th century. These tombs are located approximately 18 meters north of the chancel and 8 meters northeast of the north transept. Each tomb has a cyma-moulded plinth and cornice, with plain sides and inscriptions set in panelled ends. The southern tomb commemorates Catherine Flexney, who died in 1794, along with Thomas Flexney, who died in 1668, and his wife, who died in 1669. The inscription on the northern tomb is worn and less legible.
