Description
Morgan's Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century parallel rear wing and an early to mid-19th-century extension. The structure is made of coursed rubble limestone and features 20th-century plain tile roofs and brick chimneys. It has two storeys and an attic. The original block has two bays with 20th-century three-light wooden casements that have flat stone arches, and a central gabled roof dormer with a two-light casement. The central door is an old flush-panelled type, also featuring a flat stone arch and a gabled hood with ornamental bargeboards. To the right, there is a small lean-to extension, while the early to mid-19th-century extension on the left projects outward and is constructed of chequer brick with a hipped roof. This extension has a lean-to hood over the door on the right side and three-light wooden casements with wooden lintels and a gabled hood. Notably, this wing includes large dressed stone quoins and bonded window jambs.
