Description

GREAT TEW B4022 SP3929 (East side) 10/22 Stable range approx. 10m. to W of Court Farmhouse GV II

Stables. Probably C18. Coursed limestone rubble with marlstone-ashlar dressings; Stonesfield-slate roof. Single range. One storey plus loft. Lower section, to right, has 3 doorways and a high-level leaded 3-light casement. Higher section has a doorway and 2 windows, all with keyblock segmental arches under labels, and has 2 further ground-floor doorways, 2 loft doors and a small dormer (all with gables) and a central external stone stair with dogkennel under. The higher section has gable parapets and the right gable is half-hipped. Interior not inspected.
