Description
Toque House is a 17th-century farmhouse, which may include some earlier structures. It features roughcast, likely over stone rubble, with sections of pargetting, and has a stone slate roof with varying slopes. The house has a stone end stack with a brick flue on the right and a stone ridge stack to the left of center.
The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a five-window range. A 20th-century glazed door is located at the center, topped by a flat hood supported by wooden brackets. There are 20th-century wooden cross-windows with rendered quoin surrounds on the ground floor to the left of center, right of center, and on the right side, as well as on the first floor at the center, right of center, and on the right. A two-light casement with a rendered quoin surround is found on the ground floor to the left. The first floor features what are probably 18th-century wooden cross-windows with rendered quoin surrounds on the left and left of center. The eaves on the right are coved, and there is a gabled full dormer at the center.
The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
