Description
Maytree Cottage and Walnut Cottage is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates back to the 17th century, with a 20th-century addition on the right and some 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of stone coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof with stone stacks at each end. It is two stories high and has a five-bay range with irregularly placed casement windows. There is a 20th-century door leading to a porch located at the rear left of the center. Some of the casements at the rear are likely from the 18th century. Although the interiors were not inspected, it was noted that there is an open fireplace on the ground floor to the right. This building is included for its group value.
