Description
66 and 68 Brook Street is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates from the 17th century and has had alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features banded flint and limestone rubble on the left and right sides, with 19th-century brick in the center, which likely encases a timber frame. The roof is a complex design covered with plain tiles, and there are brick stacks from both the 17th and 19th centuries. The house is two stories high and has a three-window range. There is a central 20th-century porch with a panelled door and a lean-to roof. The windows are an irregular mix of 19th and 20th-century casements. The rear of the building shows timber-framing. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
