Description
74 and 76 Brook Street is a house that has been divided into two separate residences. It dates from the 17th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th century. The exterior is rendered, likely over limestone rubble, and features a plain tile roof with large brick stacks at each end. The building is two stories high and has a four-window range facing the garden. There are two 19th-century plank doors with partial glazing at the center, sheltered by a porch with a lean-to roof. All window openings, except for a 20th-century casement on the ground floor to the right, have 19th-century two-light casements. At the rear, there is an outshut that faces the road, which includes a central turret topped with a hipped roof. The arrangement of the casements is irregular. The interior has not been inspected.
