Description
No. 16 Church Street is an 18th-century cottage constructed of roughcast over rubble stone. It is two stories high with an attic and features a plain tile roof that has two gabled dormers. The cottage has a three-window arrangement, with the floors on the east side being higher. The first floor has modern leaded light iron-frame casements, with a pair of windows in the center and a triple window on each side. On the ground floor, there are 20-pane sash windows on the east side and 24-pane sash windows on the west side. The rear of the cottage has two gables, with a later brick extension located behind the west gable.
