Description

Watchfield House is an early 18th-century building with 19th-century additions and outbuildings located on Watchfield Oak Road. It features chequer brick construction with stone quoins and openings, topped by a gabled Bradstone tiled roof and three brick stacks. The house is two storeys high with an attic and has a south-facing front with four bays. The left bay contains six-pane sash windows with margin lights, while the other bays have four-pane sashes. There is a panelled and glazed door in the second bay from the left, set between thin Doric columns. The interior is not of special interest. Surrounding the garden is a 10-foot chequer brick wall, which is also not of special interest.
