Description

The Grange is an 18th-century house of rubble stone construction. It has a steeply pitched gabled roof covered with slate on the road side and stone tiles at the rear. Four tall brick stacks are present. The house is two storeys high with a rear attic containing two stone-tiled gabled dormers. The east front has four bays, each featuring a three-light casement window with leaded glass, except for the upper left-hand window, which has wood glazing. A central four-panel door is set within deep panelled reveals and an architrave surround, featuring two glazed lights above.
