Description
Gamekeeper's Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Main Road in Fyfield. It is constructed from colourwashed coursed limestone rubble and features a half-hipped thatch roof with a brick end stack. The cottage has a one-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The windows include timber lintels over 20th-century two-light casements and a 19th-century three-light dormer casement. To the right, there is a 19th-century one-storey extension made of colourwashed brick, which shares the same thatch roof. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension at the rear that includes the current entry. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
