Description
No 9 is an earlier 19th century house located in Great Faringdon Market Place. It is built of chequered brick and has three storeys topped with a stone tiled eaves roof. The front features a two-window range of glazing bar sash windows with gauged brick window heads. On the ground floor, there is an early 20th century bowed shop window flanked by Ionic pilasters, along with a modern fascia. At the rear, there is a 17th century gabled brick and part timber-framed wing, which includes a chamfered and stopped beam on the ground floor.
