Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 6 meters south of the south chapel of the Church of St. John the Baptist, dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. It features plain corner balusters and a raised apron with guttae beneath an entablature that has deep cavetto moulding and a winged cherub's head. The elevations are similar on all sides. The tomb is a memorial to Elizabeth-Anne, the wife of J.S.B. Barrett, who was a surgeon in the area and passed away in 1831.
