Description

This is a pair of chest tombs located to the south of the south porch of St Mary's Church in Buscot. They date from the 17th century and possibly the late 17th or early 18th century. The tombs are constructed from stone and each consists of several blocks with a deep, oversailing, chamfered lid. The later tomb features recessed end panels. Unfortunately, the inscriptions on the tombs are too worn to be read.
