Description
The Old Farmhouse is an L-shaped building originally dating from the 17th century. It has two storeys constructed of rubble, with a modern rough rendered west front facing the road and a modern red tile roof. A large central brick stack is present, while the south gable end features a projecting stone stack with a brick shaft. The windows are modern three-light designs set in concrete architraves. A brick dentil cornice adorns the building, and there is a six-panel door in a concrete architrave beneath a modern pedimented tiled hood. Two buttresses are located at the ground floor. At the rear, an ancient gable remains, with the right-hand section being rough rendered and featuring a modern pedimented doorway. The middle section is made of chequered brick, while the left-hand section is constructed of rubble and has a brick chimney.
