Description
Joy Mount House is probably originally from the 17th century and is a two-storey building constructed of rough rendered brick. At the back, there is an ancient rough rendered timber-framed gable, along with some old window frames featuring leaded lights. The front elevation has a hipped tiled roof with three gabled attic dormers. To the right, there is a brick porch with a slate roof. On the first floor, there are three casement windows. The ground floor features one flat arched 19th-century window in a moulded architrave, one flush frame sash window with glazing bars, and one three-light 19th-century window. There is also a later extension to the east.
