Description

The former barn at The Old Farmhouse is a structure with ancient origins that has undergone significant repairs and alterations. The left section features a low slate roof and a wall made of rubble, which has been repaired with wood and corrugated iron. To the left, there is modern brickwork that includes two 19th-century sash windows and a door. This section also has a gabled barge-boarded porch. The right section has a tile roof and a rubble wall that is barge-boarded, with double wooden doors. It also features two splayed arrow windows. Inside, the barn has an arch-braced tie beam roof, which is likely from the 16th century, and consists of four bays.
