Description
11 and 13 Newbury Street is a late 18th-century town house that now serves as a house and shop. The building is rendered over brick, with the left side wall constructed of flared header bond brick featuring red brick quoins and dressings. It has a Welsh slate roof, and the stacks are not visible. The structure has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a five-window range. The shop front has been altered in the 20th century. There are keyed flat arches above the sash windows, and the hipped roof is complemented by gauged brick flat arches with keystones over some of the sashes, which are partially blocked. A red brick storey band and eaves course are present on the left side wall. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
