Description
No. 3 Market Place is a town house that has been converted into offices, built around 1870. The building features red machine brick with yellow machine brick quoins and dressings, topped with an old tile roof. It stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are two-panelled sashes set within segmental arches that have keystones. The ground floor is adorned with a wood modillioned cornice, while a brick dentilled string course and cornice with egg and dart motifs decorate the soffits. The roof is gabled and includes a ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
