Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a house that dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century and was remodeled and extended in 1977 and 1978. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof, with a 20th-century brick stack on the left end. The cottage has a two-unit plan, is one storey high with an attic, and has a two-window range. There are timber lintels above the 20th-century door and windows, and it includes 20th-century dormer casements. Inside, there is a chamfered beam, although the roof has not been inspected. An extension was added to the left side during the 1977/8 renovations.
