Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a remodel in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof, along with brick stacks at the ends and ridge. The building has a three-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. There is a central C20 plank door with dressed stone jambs and 17th-century brick reveals, flanked by a blocked door on the right. The windows have timber lintels and concrete lintels above, with C20 dormer casements. To the left, there is a C20 one-storey extension. The rear and interior have not been inspected but are likely to be of interest.
