Description

This granary, located approximately 2 meters northeast of The Cleve, dates back to the 17th century and features 19th-century alterations. It is supported by brick piers and has timber-framing from the 17th century, with later modifications including passing braces and painted brick infill. The roof is hipped and covered with old plain tiles. The structure is a single-storey, two-bay range with a central plank door. There are two light openings on the left and right, featuring diagonally-set wood mullions, as well as opposing openings at the rear. Inside, the granary has a collar truss roof. It is included in the listing for its group value.
