Description
Sunnybank is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 16th-century cross-wing. The building features a stone uncoursed rubble plinth and roughcast, likely on timber-framing for the main block. The cross-wing has small timber-framing with roughcast infill. The main block has a half-hipped thatched roof, while the cross-wing is topped with a fish-scale tile roof and plain-tile edging. There is a stone rubble ridge stack at the center of the main block and a brick ridge stack on the cross-wing.
The house has a 2-unit lobby entry plan with a cross-wing and is single storey with an attic. The main block has a two-window range and a door in the center with a flat hood above it. There is a 20th-century glazed door on the left return of the cross-wing. The windows are irregularly arranged casements, and there are two swept dormers on the main block. The attic gable end of the cross-wing is jettied. The interior has not been inspected.
