Description
This building, located at 2-8 Stert Street, has a core that dates back to the 18th century and features a timber frame with a later stucco front elevation. The sides are roughly rendered, and it has a tile roof with a parapet and a heavy moulded cornice. A dentil cornice and moulded frieze are supported by four Doric pilasters. The building has two windows with wood architraves, and the top storey features modern casements, while the first floor has a frieze and cornice. The ground floor has been altered for modern shops. The rear of the premises faces Stert Street. Nos. 14 to 21 form a group with this building.
