Nos. 17 and 18 on Market Place are a late 18th century or early 19th century building with a timber-framed rear facing Stert Street, featuring a tile roof and a rendered parapet. The structure is two storeys high and has two three-light windows with flush frames, wooden mullions, a frieze, and a cornice, all with glazing bars. The first floor overhangs on brackets. The rear of the premises is located on Stert Street. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 14 to 21 consecutively.
