Description
No. 15 Market Place is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century. It features a lath and plaster exterior set on a rubble base and has an overhang on the first floor. The front was altered in the 20th century by "boxing out" and adding a parapet. The building stands three storeys tall with an attic and has a tile roof, which includes one hipped dormer facing the Market Place. The overhang is supported by a boxed cornice. The exterior is rendered, and there are two windows with moulded flush frames, a frieze, and a cornice, featuring double hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has been modernized with new glazing bars. Nos. 14 to 21 Market Place, including this building, form a group.
