Description

No. 16 Market Place is an 18th-century, timber-framed building that forms part of an L-shaped corner premises. It stands three storeys tall and is rough rendered, topped with a slate roof featuring iron eaves brackets. The building has three windows, two of which are wooden flush frames with a frieze and cornice, and double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has been modernized for a shop. Nos. 14 to 21, which are consecutive, form a group with this property.
