Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 30 meters southeast of a war memorial. It dates from the late medieval period or the 16th century and is constructed of roughcast over limestone rubble, topped with a conical stone slate roof. The dovecote has a circular plan and features a 20th-century timber lintel above a studded door with a Norfolk latch, as well as a 20th-century timber lintel over a 20th-century mullioned window. Inside, there are nesting boxes built into the walls. The dovecote was restored in the 1970s after falling into disrepair.
