Description
The White Hart Public House is a house that has been converted into a public house, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble and features a gambrel roof covered with old tiles. The brick end stacks were rebuilt in the 20th century. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical arrangement of two windows. There is a segmental brick arch above a 20th-century door, and timber lintels over 20th-century three-light casement windows. The building also has two gabled roof dormers and a 20th-century extension to the left of the front. At the rear, there is a stair turret and flanking outshuts made from similar materials. Inside, there are chamfered beams, although the first floor has not been inspected.
