Description
Noah's Ark Bridge and its flanking walls are a bridge built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble and features triangular ashlar coping. The bridge has three semi-circular arches, which are separated by buttresses, along with a similar overflow arch to the left. It is believed that the bridge may have been built around the time the road to Wantage was turnpiked in 1770.
