Description
Church Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid-16th century, with a front added in the 18th century. It features a cruck frame, a rendered brick base, and red brick with grey headers in Flemish bond. The roof is thatched, with a brick ridge stack located to the left of the center and brick end stacks. The cottage is single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. There is a plank door with a segmental brick head to the left of the center, and two plank doors with segmental brick heads to the right of the center. The windows include two-light leaded casements with segmental brick heads and shutters on both sides, and a three-light leaded casement with a segmental brick head and shutters in the center. A swept dormer with a two-light casement is located to the right of the center. The full cruck frame is visible on the right return. The interior has not been inspected.
