Description
This is a late 17th-century house on the south side of Long Wittenham High Street. The construction incorporates a limestone rubble base, large timber framing, and rendered infill to the left-hand side, with painted brick infill elsewhere. The roof is covered with mid-20th-century plain tiles, featuring a brick ridge stack to the right of centre and a brick end stack to the left. The house likely follows a three-unit lobby-entry plan. It is a single-storey building with an attic, presenting a three-window façade. A plank door is positioned to the right of centre, flanked by a three-light wooden casement to the left, a similar casement in the centre, and a single-light casement to the right. A two-pane window is located above the front door. The left return reveals a queen-post roof truss, along with a two-light wooden casement. The interior has not been inspected.
