Description
The Manor Dovecote is a dovecote that likely dates from the late 16th century, with restoration and partial rebuilding carried out in the 20th century. It features a base made of uncoursed limestone rubble, with red brick on the right side and large timber-framing on the left, which includes brick infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and has two gables with hipped plain-tile roofs at the ridge. There is a 20th-century opening and a window above it, located to the left of the center. The right return and rear of the structure also have timber-framing with brick infill. Inside, there is a double queen-post roof. The ground floor on the left has reconstructed brick dove boxes, while the first floor on the left features reconstructed lath and plaster dove boxes.
