Description
The Clock House is likely a stable block dating from around the middle of the 17th century, with alterations and a new facade added in the 18th century and further changes made in the 20th century. It is now used as a house. The building is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers laid in a Flemish bond pattern, and has a roof covered with old plain tiles. A wooden cupola with a hipped tile roof sits at the centre of the ridge. The house is single-storey with an attic and has a three-window front. A six-panel door is set within a brick lean-to porch. Modern casement windows are set in original brick segmental arched openings on the left and right sides. There are three modern gabled dormers in the roof. The roof structure features cruck trusses on the left and right of the central section.
