Description
Jamaica Cottage and the adjoining cottage are two cottages dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The cottages feature large timber framing with angle bracing and brick infill on the left side, some timber framing with brick infill on the right, and red brick in the center. They have a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the right, with brick stacks at each end. The cottages are single storey with an attic and have a three-window range. There is a plank door to the left of the center and a four-panel part-glazed door to the right of the center. A 20th-century metal three-light casement window is located in the center, while two and three-light 19th-century wooden casements are on the left. The cottages also feature three gabled dormers with two-light leaded casements. The interior has not been inspected.
