Description
No 80 Bell Street is a 18th-century building featuring a facade with plastered, colour-washed walls, a large rear chimney, and an old tiled roof. It has wide wooden eaves and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has two sash windows, each with three lights. The ground floor includes a central six-panelled door topped by a reproduction curved moulded hood supported by brackets. On either side of the door are a 19th-century shop window and an additional window.
This building is part of a group that includes Nos 70 to 102 (even), the building at the rear of Nos 70 and 72, Nos 93 and 95 opposite, and Nos 1 to 11 (odd) and 15 to 25 (odd) Denmark House, Elm House, Ruperts Elm, Ruperts Guard, White House, the Obelisk, and No 30 Northfield End, as well as Tarry's Cottage, Bell Cottage, and the Flat on Rupert's Lane.
