Description

A terrace of five mid-19th century dwellings on Park Street, Thame. The building is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings, and has a slate roof with brick ridge stacks. It is two storeys high, with a five-window front. The ground floor doorways have 20th-century doors beneath concrete lintels, with the exception of the leftmost doorway which has a soldier-coursed brick lintel. Each dwelling has a single window on each floor, all originally with concrete cambered lintels. Number 36 has 20th-century casement windows. Number 37 retains 16-pane unhorned sash windows. Number 38 has 20th-century casement windows. Number 39 has 16-pane unhorned sash windows, and number 40 has 12-pane horned sash windows. The interiors have not been inspected. The terrace is included on the list for its group value.
