Description
No. 13 The Green is a house that features a 17th-century wing on the right side, with an early 18th-century main structure and 19th-century alterations. The building has a roughcast exterior, likely built on brick at the ground floor, and roughcast with false timber framing on the first floor, probably on timber framing. It has an old plain-tile roof and brick stacks at the ends. The house is two stories tall and has a two-window range. There is a 20th-century plank door leading to a 20th-century closed porch, which has a gabled old plain-tile roof. To the left, there is a 20th-century three-light casement window, and to the right, a 20th-century four-light casement window. On the first floor, there are two 12-pane unhorned sash windows. The right side of the house has a single-storey and attic wing with a single-window, which features a 20th-century four-light window at the ground floor and a gabled full dormer in the roof. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a bread oven on the ground floor to the left, along with a blocked fireplace in the same area. The ground floor also has chamfered spine beams and some 18th-century plank doors.
